90/100 James Suckling A round dense and flavourful blend....
The nose elegantly blends a toasty oak note with intense fruit. The palate is ample and concentrated. A touch of acidity combined with a subtle bitterness ensures a beautiful balance. Fine texture, intense aromas—a beautiful and ambitious wine! 93/100 Le Revue du Vin de France
Medium golden in color, the 2023 Corbières Château De Luc Les Jumelles Blanc is fresh, crisp, and textured. The 70% Grenache and 30% Roussanne, aged for five months in new barrels with stirring of the fine lees, blend into a lemony, spicy bouquet with notes of lemon balm, white peach, pear, garden herbs, lime blossom, verbena, and a hint of licorice. The fairly long finish is enhanced by a refreshing hint of bitterness. Very nice now, it will continue to evolve well over the next 5 years. Drink 2025-2030. 91/100 Jed Dunnuck
A remarkably fresh and delightfully balanced white from the south of France with fleshy fruit, savoury complexity and a whole host of pretty floral aromas including honeysuckle. Fleshy, herbal, with touches of fennel to balance the ripeness. A delightful and lip-smackingly fantastic blend of Roussanne (80%) and Grenache Blanc (20%)
It was in the heart of the Languedoc that Château de Luc was constructed in the 5th century. After centuries of preservation and some restoration, the château bears witness to the heritage of this historical site. "Terroir et équilibre" is the motto of the Château and that's exactly what the Fabre family achieve here. From vines which grow on the rocky terraces and poor soils of Corbières' Alaric mountains, they perfectly balance the freshness and concentration in their wines.
